Teryn & Dustin’s Wedding
Saturday, April 26th, 2008Dustin & Teryn were married in a classic southern ceremony at Coby Hall on the University of Northern Alabama campus. One of my favorite shots in this set for pure photojournalism value is the look on Teryn’s face when Dustin tells her on the phone that he hasn’t quite left the hotel yet….
The fountain that is featured in a few of the shots is very much a UNA landmark, and it was important to Dustin & Teryn to have it featured in a few of the shots.

Teryn’s Bridal Portraits
Saturday, April 12th, 2008Teryn is just an awesome, sassy southern belle. We shot this session at Ellington Agricultural Center, just down the road from our house in South Nashville. I was spoiled with an abundance of wonderful photographic assistance on this shoot from Kay Anderson and Zach Gray… so I’d have no excuse if these shots didn’t turn out amazingly!

worth noting that these ARE posted chronologically… this was actually shot in the daytime…. Powerful strobe lights are FUN!

Mei & Wayne’s Wedding
Saturday, April 5th, 2008Mei and Wayne were married at the Japanese Garden of Tranquility in the Memphis Botanic Garden on a day with decidedly untranquil weather. Foreboding clouds and rain in the morning gave way to brighter sun in the afternoon, with the transitional period during the ceremony. I really can’t say enough good things about Daniel’s shooting in this set, which is really superb. The image of the couple laughing is a priceless representation of their personality, the image of Mei bracing while Wayne works the cork on the bubbly is hilarious, and I love the composition of the shot of the couple arriving in the Limo. Daniel is a GREAT photojournalist.
