Kelly & David’s Wedding
Saturday, June 28th, 2008For this wedding, I was fortunate to have Tony Schreiber along with me as a special guest. Tony is a good friend and an excellent photographer: many of his images are featured in this set. Kelly & David are friends of another couple of my clients: Chad and Jennie. They chose a wonderful venue for the ceremony: The Historic Railpark in Bowling Green, KY. The image of Kelly & David inside the car received an Accolade of Excellence in the first half 2009 WPPI International 8×10 Print Competition.
Enjoy!

Carrie & Eric’s Engagement Session
Friday, June 27th, 2008We photographed Carrie & Eric’s engagement session at Cannonsburgh Village, down in Murfreesboro. I was thrilled to have my friend Tony Schreiber along to help out on this session, which features the always-stunning Carrie. We had a lot of fun during the session, and I was thrilled to hear later that Carrie and Eric had really felt it was a bonding experience.

Cathleen & Tyler’s Wedding
Saturday, June 21st, 2008Cathleen and Tyler were married at Cathleen’s grandmother’s beautiful house in Thompson’s Station, TN. We were blessed with amazing weather, and the wedding was scheduled for the perfect part of the evening. One of my favorite images in this set is the image of Tyler embracing his mother after having escorted her down the aisle. His expression and hand positions are very sensitive and wonderful. I also love the image of Tyler being thrown into the pool: it was extremely dark and I wasn’t given time to fully prepare (hence the grain), but its a hilarious moment.

Cathleen’s brother had been expected to be unable to make the wedding…

Amy & Jamie’s Engagement Session
Sunday, June 8th, 2008We photographed Amy and Jamie’s engagement session at the Governor’s Club, and they surprised me by bringing this amazing Super Sport to the session. The only problem was that it was totally a tough time of day to be shooting such a beautiful automobile… but with a LOT of powerful studio lighting, we were able to turn day into night for a killer “make-out point” shot. Most of that look was accomplished with the strobes, but a hint of Photoshop magic went into creating the finished version. I was honored to receive an Accolade of Excellence from WPPI for that image!
