Wednesday, November 30th, 2011I always enjoy working with my military couples: I always get a little nostalgic for back when I was in uniform, dating a beautiful redhead. Anyway, we had a fun session with Courtney & Jon, starting down in the gulch, then heading on to Sevier Park, and finally ending up at the delicious Las Paletas for dessert. I’m very much looking forward to your wedding guys!
Leah & Adam’s Wedding
Tuesday, November 29th, 2011Leah & Adam were married at the Village Chapel here in Nashville, with a reception at the Cellar One event space right on 1st Avenue. This day just seemed to fly by! I felt that Daniel did particularly excellent work on this set, with emotions running the full gamut. The details (particularly the cupcakes) were important here, as this couple is quite serious about their individually sized-desserts!

Stacy & Ryan’s Wedding
Saturday, November 19th, 2011On October 30, 2004, my wife and I were married in Raleigh, NC. Nearly seven years to-the-day later I traveled back to Raleigh to document the wedding of another man from my old regiment to a beautiful woman. They even had dinner and drinks at the very place where we were married all those years ago… so I must say I felt a bit wistful as I shot this one. The last shot in this set was taken in the exact room that one of our favorite wedding photos was taken.
I was also thrilled to have my friend & brilliant wedding photographer Saad Syed there to provide his unique viewpoint.

Todd & Julie’s Portrait Session
Sunday, November 6th, 2011Its always an honor when another photographer asks you to shoot for him. Todd is a talented wedding photographer in Kitchener, Ontario. Todd & Julie were on vacation from Canada, and Todd asked me to do an anniversary session as a surprise for Julie. We had a great time cavorting around in Chattanooga, and then a lovely dinner together afterward. Thanks so much for the opportunity to work with you both, and to get to know you! Hopefully we can get together again sometime!
