IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear friends, clients, brides, and photographers,

Its been a wonderful few years, and I cannot tell you how much working with some of you has meant to me. However, effective early June of this year, Evan Baines Photography will be closing its doors permanently. I have managed to earn a tremendous opportunity for an exciting new (old) direction in my life, but this will preclude any professional photographic commissions. I will, however, continue to be a photographer for the rest of my life, and I expect to keep some version of this site updated in the future with my personal work.

If you are a current or past client, rest assured that I will execute my remaining professional obligations with enthusiasm. I have a handful of weddings and assignments left, and I hope to go out with a bang! I want to be sure that I look back on the end of my photographic career with pride.

Christine & Justin’s Wedding

Christine & Justin were married last weekend here in Nashville, although there was a decidedly Texas feel to the festivities (Justin & his family hail from the Lone Star state). The day had a wonderful, classy feel that was elegant and upscale without pretension. I particularly enjoyed the photographs that involved the kids while Christine got ready, and letting them help fasten her heirloom gown was a wonderful gesture.

Amy & Kurt’s Wedding

I was thrilled and honored to shoot Amy & Kurt’s wedding in Philadelphia a few weeks ago, and I’ve been hugely grateful that they have been so patient waiting to see this blog set! It’s been a crazy few weeks around here.

The shot of Amy embracing her mother with dad and Kurt looking on is one of my all-time favorites.
