IMPORTANT NOTICE
Friday, May 4th, 2012Dear friends, clients, brides, and photographers,
Its been a wonderful few years, and I cannot tell you how much working with some of you has meant to me. However, effective early June of this year, Evan Baines Photography will be closing its doors permanently. I have managed to earn a tremendous opportunity for an exciting new (old) direction in my life, but this will preclude any professional photographic commissions. I will, however, continue to be a photographer for the rest of my life, and I expect to keep some version of this site updated in the future with my personal work.
If you are a current or past client, rest assured that I will execute my remaining professional obligations with enthusiasm. I have a handful of weddings and assignments left, and I hope to go out with a bang! I want to be sure that I look back on the end of my photographic career with pride.
Thank you to everyone who has shared part of this journey with me!

What!? NO! Can’t you just stay in the business, keeping it real, showing everyone how the craft is truly done and send Jasmine Star instead?
Well, crap. It has to be something really good. So I wish you all the best.

Kudos to a good role model and mentor. Your work will be missed, but I, nevertheless, wish you well in the new career.

Evan, best wishes to you on all of your upcoming adventures!! I have checked back often – always enjoying your talented work.
Scott and I feel very lucky to have been able to cross paths and work with you while in Nashville.
We were so blessed to have you as our photographer for both our TN engagement and then Arizona wedding memories – the proof is in how much we still enjoy them each day!

My husband Gary and I had the pleasure of attending your Nashville Studio Opening a few years back. We enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife Amanda, and sharing great wine, food and conversations about our culinary affections! We wish you the best in the new direction life takes you. You’re an amazing photographer and all around “nice guy.”
If you two are in the Northern California area sometime and want to visit the wine country, we are always down for a Napa Valley day trip!

Evan – I am the mom of a veteran soldier and I am also a photography hobbyist. I stumbled upon your site only this night and was instantly impressed with your talent and artistic vision. I am only sorry that I didn’t find your site sooner. I do hope that you find much success and happiness in your newest endeavor. Perhaps some day you will find time to maybe have a photoblog gallery and continue to share your art with us.
All the best.

As a fellow Artist, Even taught me a what it meant to see yourself from a different perspective, “Not” Being ON or IN FRONT of the camera” .What it was to be a great model vs true authenticity. As a dear Friend, teaching me over the years as, that living up to the spot light and truly being an example in The moments Captured is just as important to whom we are and choose to live off camera. Oh, and Im not the only one who is OCD about my work:) perfection every time.
Even, I’m proud of you. I will always be their for you.
