WPPI 2nd Half 2009 8×10 Accolades
Tuesday, November 17th, 2009I’m thrilled to announce that two of my images were awarded Accolades of Excellence in the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International 2nd Half 2009 8×10 Print Competition. The competition this half was particularly fierce: 1900 images were submitted for consideration. This is widely considered to be among the most important print competitions for wedding and portrait photographers, and I’m honored that my images were considered worthy of these accolades.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009I’m excited to announce that all eight of these images were honored with Accolades of Excellence in the prestigious WPPI 8×10 print competition this week! Thanks to the wonderful couples that worked with me on these images, without whom non of this would have been possible.
Courtney’s Bridal Portraits
Sunday, May 10th, 2009Courtney & George were married yesterday in a lovely ceremony at the West End Church of Christ. Now that they’re safely married, I can finally post Courtney’s stunning bridal images. She’s got a beautiful classic style, which I worked to augment with some vintage-inspired shots. The color images utilize a treatment inspired by the carbro-color shots of the 1940′s. I was thrilled to receive two major awards for my work in this set!

This image was selected for these honors from amongst a field of work by the most talented wedding photographers in the world. Costa & Amy’s Engagement Session
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008Costa and Amy are a cool and stylish couple that wanted something really different and evocative for their engagement photographs… and I was happy to oblige! Its worth noting that they really put a lot of thought into their wardrobe, which absolutely makes this set in my opinion. Of course, Costa’s beetle certainly didn’t hurt!
