Mei and Wayne were married at the Japanese Garden of Tranquility in the Memphis Botanic Garden on a day with decidedly untranquil weather. Foreboding clouds and rain in the morning gave way to brighter sun in the afternoon, with the transitional period during the ceremony. I really can’t say enough good things about Daniel’s shooting in this set, which is really superb. The image of the couple laughing is a priceless representation of their personality, the image of Mei bracing while Wayne works the cork on the bubbly is hilarious, and I love the composition of the shot of the couple arriving in the Limo. Daniel is a GREAT photojournalist.
